Bob Dowling Jr, President and co-founder of the company, made the announcement as part of a long term strategic plan to introduce the company to new markets.
“We’ve been working as a sole source supplier to OEM customers for 25 years. In spite of our success and longevity, a recent survey suggests most customers are unaware of our presence in traditional and developing markets.
Therefore, I have created a new Marketing department within corporate headquarters, and assigned Steven Giamundo with the tasks of improving market awareness, developing new products, and formalizing our strategic vision to create a blueprint for future growth.”
Steven Giamundo, previously Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Schott-Fostec, LLC, assumes the new position as Marketing Manager. With over 20 years of marketing experience on a global scale and five years experience in major and emerging fiberoptic markets, Giamundo will be in charge of all collateral and corporate identity, distribution, new product and market development, and advertising.
