DoD Skillbridge Internships
As part of our commitment, FTI supports internships through the Department of Defense (DoD) SkillBridge program. DoD SkillBridge promotes civilian job training for transitioning service members. Any Service member within 180 days of leaving the Military can seek a full-time (40-hours per week), unpaid internship with FTI, up to 6-month period. Service members must meet eligibility requirements outlined in DoDI 1322 and receive approval through their chain of command. FTI has openings for energetic individuals possessing a positive attitude to join our manufacturing team for Full time first and second shift employment at our Pomfret facility. Previous experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus.

Assembler Qualifications:
Basic computer skills, manual dexterity, visual acuity, attention to detail and good organizational skills are a must. Must be capable of working independently and/or as a team member. Sitting or standing for up to 3 hours at a time is required.
Understanding technical drawings and the use of measuring devices and microscopes will be required at the completion of the training period.
