Pomfret CT Location Opening: The QA Coordinator will work directly under the supervision of the QA Manager to perform all relevant quality tasks required by the organization in order to maintain and further improve the overall Quality Management System, and FTI as an organization. FTI has openings for energetic individuals possessing a positive attitude to join our manufacturing team for Full time first and second shift employment at our Pomfret facility. Training will be provided. Previous experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus. Assembler Qualifications:
The Technical Director will oversee Engineering, R&D, and Light Source manufacturing. Successful candidate will interface internally with Materials, Manufacturing, Sales, Marketing, and Quality to provide technical support, participate as a member of project teams when required, and interface externally with customers, vendors, and consultants to solve problems, improve processes, and assure product and hardware consistency.
DoD Skillbridge Internships
As part of our commitment, FTI supports internships through the Department of Defense (DoD) SkillBridge program. DoD SkillBridge promotes civilian job training for transitioning service members. Any Service member within 180 days of leaving the Military can seek a full-time (40-hours per week), unpaid internship with FTI, up to 6-month period. Service members must meet eligibility requirements outlined in DoDI 1322 and receive approval through their chain of command.
