Human Resources Manager

Fiberoptics is looking for a Human Resources Manager to oversee all Human Resource operations. This person will work closely with management to develop and implement policies and strategies that align with the mission vision and values of the organization. They will also be responsible for maintaining organizational compliance as well as cultural growth.

This is a full-time, in person position.

Job Duties:

· Foster an environment of trust and integrity that aligns with the mission, vision, and values of the company.

· Plan, coordinate, and enforce administrative functions.

· Ensure the organization’s compliance with local, state and federal regulations including mandatory training.

· Ensure all company HR policies are applied consistently.

· Maintain HR systems and processes.

· Maintain employee records in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.

· Ensure job descriptions are up to date and compliant with all local, state and federal regulations.

· Work with management to identify and address current and future talent needs.

· Manage the staffing process, including recruiting, interviewing, hiring, background checks and onboarding.

· Work with senior management to design and implement employee retention strategies.

· Coordinate with supervisors to conduct routine performance reviews.

· Learn and manage the company’s salary administration plan.

· Tracking any licenses, certifications, trainings, etc. that are required by the organization or by law.

· Improve and perpetuate company’s onboard training and strategy to ensure employees understand their job responsibilities.

· Stay up to date on potential changes in state and federal laws that may affect the organization.

· Maintain employee relations.

o Mediate employee conflicts

o Maintain accurate documentation of incidents involving employees.

o Work with management to ensure any disciplinary actions, process, or policy is conducted utilizing best practices.

o Conduct workplace investigations when necessary.

· Work with outside organizations and vendors such as the DOL., benefits providers, and more.

· Analyze trends in compensation and benefits; research and propose competitive base and incentive pay programs to ensure the organization attracts and retains top talent.

· Creates learning and development programs and initiatives that provide internal development opportunities for employees.

· Maintain COVID reporting and contact tracing protocols.

· Perform other duties as assigned.

Experience and Education Requirements:

· Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field

· A minimum of five years of human resource management experience is preferred

· SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP highly desired.

· ISOLVE HRIS system experience preferred.

· Understanding payroll systems preferred.

· Exceptional interpersonal, communications, and relationship building skills

· Comprehensive understanding of local, state and federal employment law

· Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and payroll software; proficient with Excel

· Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

· Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.

· An aptitude for proactive problem solving.
